At age 26 (married and with a 6-month-old child at home) Katherine Wolf suffered a massive brain stem stroke. She was not expected to live or recover, but she did both. Following the nearly life-ending stroke, she has re-learned how to eat speak, and walk — albeit differently than she did before. Many obstacles (from double vision to deafness, facial paralysis to lack of fine motor coordination in her hand, even a small brain aneurysm) set her back, and yet hope remains.
Today, Jay and Katherine Wolf share their story through their ministry Hope Heals. Their hope has not been in good thoughts or the positivity of the human spirit. It is the only true hope that heals–hope in Jesus Christ. Katherine shares her story in her recent book Hope Heals: A True Story of Overwhelming Loss and an Overcoming Love.
